My get up and go has gotten up and left.

"My get and go has gotten up and left" how many times have we used that saying. I know I have used it and am using it more and more as the days and the years go buy. Myasthenia Gravis, Depression, Atrial Tachycardia, torn Meniscus in my right knee, and oh arthritis is in there too...wooooooohooooo... "My get up and go has got up and left". I sit in my chair and crochet and quilt. At a very slow pace. I'm just tired in my bones. The things that use to brighten my day are gone. Now the thing that helps me get up are my babies. All the pictures below have my babies in them...lol...I'm sure some wouldn't think being called a baby is a complement, but to me it is. I can feel down and blue and the little ones walk thru the door and I soon find my self in the floor playing horse with Logan or playing with sweet Carter who thinks i'm one of the funniest person on earth...lol...Or the girls come home from work and tell me about their day. Joshua calls and checks on me all the time and makes sure some time while is his off to come and sit with me and we talk of many things. When Justin pops in unexpectedly. Leslie's imaginations and creativity amaze me, I love seeing things she comes up with, such a talented woman. Amy's laughter any time, playing marbles with her is so much fun, because you just laugh and laugh. Or when she is feeling a little off and comes to me for a little help, and curls up on my couch for a nap. I'm glad she is that comfortable in my home. I am about to start to quilt the girls jellyroll quilts been working on these for nearly a year. This is something I used to be able to do in a couple of weeks. It is has taken me just a week to get them basted, the binding sewn own and to trim the excess off so we can hem them. Thanks to my sweet girls, I would have never completed this task without them. I wonder sometimes if I have taught my children correctly as the bible says. Have I taught my girls how to be a virtuous women. Before I married Mrs. Laura Speegle sat down with me and had me read this scripture. That has stayed with me through all of these years. I read this scripture in Proverbs and I fall so short these days. When I first married my wonderful husband and started having my wonderful children I was full of energy and vigor. And I tried to be all this scripture says. Now I sit and think " My get up and go has got up and left". So as you read this scripture think about your ever day journey. and ask your self if "Your get up and go has got up and left" We need to pray together to lift each other up to God, so that when our "Go had left" that someone is praying for each of us so the getting up is a little easier.
Proverbs 31:
10 A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
13 She selects wool and flax
and works with eager hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships,
bringing her food from afar.
15 She gets up while it is still night;
she provides food for her family
and portions for her female servants.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable,
and her lamp does not go out at night.
19 In her hand she holds the distaff
and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
20 She opens her arms to the poor
and extends her hands to the needy.
21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes coverings for her bed;
she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is respected at the city gate,
where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
and supplies the merchants with sashes.
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31 Honor her for all that her hands have done,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
